This job consists of providing general accounting, reporting and process functions to support existing accounting staff, Controllers and Director of Finance. More details and additional tasks are provided below: Qualifications: Current enrolment in a University or College Business Administration Coop program with an Accounting/Finance focus. Experience with MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc. ). Familiarity with ERP software (i. e. SAP) would be an asset. Financial Transactional Processing: Assistance with monthly journal entries, capital asset addition and disposal tracking, clerical support including filing, accounts payable and accounts receivable entries. Month End Reporting: Assist the Controllers and Financial Analysts with the preparation of month end close including account reconciliations, analysis and preparation of various reports. Special Projects: Participates in and supports special ad hoc projects (such as annual budgeting) as determined by the Director, Controllers and Financial Analysts.
