Topics include atomic and molecular structure, intermolecular forces of attraction, reaction kinetics, and organic chemical reactions and mechanisms. Number of Positions (est) : 3 positions. Positions are dependent on actual course enrolment, and are not guaranteed. Course Enrolment (est): 800 students Hours of work (est) : 115.75 hours Class schedule : ttb. utoronto. ca/ Sessional dates of appointment : January 2024 – April 2024 Salary : CUPE3902 Unit 3 Salaries. The rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail. Qualifications : B. Sc. in Chemistry. Sound knowledge in contents covered in the course required. Previous TA experience marking assignments, quizzes, tests and/or final exam in Chemistry an asset to be able to evaluate students' work consistently within the Uof T's standards. Good communication skills are required as well. Description of Duties : Duties will include marking assignments, quizzes, term tests, and/or final examination.
