R&D SCIENTIST – BERKSHIRE – PAYE CONTRACT – Approx. 1 year A global biomedical organisation are currently recruiting for an R&D Scientist to join their facility based in the Berkshire area on a contract basis PAYE until December 2024. This position is laboratory-based, delivering technical solutions for the next generation cell culture and product production processes. The role involves performing experimental work focused on protein chemistry or proteomics. You will be planning and completing assigned tasks, collating data, signing off routine assays, preparing data tables and relevant scientific documentation. You will participate in trouble shooting investigations as required and perform other duties as assigned. To be considered for the role candidates will need to be educated to degree level as minimum of the life sciences field of study. Advanced experience with analytical methods, knowledge of protein chemistry and principles of protein separation by liquid chromatography is essential, along with prior experience working in a laboratory environment. Experience with Mass Spectrometry and/or Statistical and Bioinformatic analysis would be desirable.
