As an Angular Front-end Developer, you will offer your agile methodology experience as part of a dynamic and passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). You will bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural at the team and portfolio levels. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team will be key to the overall success.Your Role· Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities for a variety of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight· Act as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a do what it takes attitude to ensure product and team success· Provide improvements to the product(s) being supported· Actively participate in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases· Support release planning with conceptual design and development / refinement of software engineering guidelines· Analyze complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components· Ensure product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reports· Provide mentoring to junior members of the teamWhat's Required· Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include but are not limited to: 3 year check for felony convictions; 1 year check for illegal drug use; 1 year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud· College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree· At least seven (7) years related technical experience, with software design, development, and implementation in a Windows Environment· In-depth knowledge of the Angular framework and Angular Material· Must have expert experience in the following programming languages/libraries: Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.· Experience creating Angular components, services, good understanding of state management and UI performance· Experience creating reusable libraries, develop interactive and responsive interfaces, implement complex solutions, encouraging quality code through conducting reviews/leading tests, and applying beautiful visualizations to solutions· Implement new features by transforming mockups into fully functional user interfaces integrated with API enabled microservice built on Springboot/Java based backend· Demonstrated professional experience with developing SPA (Single Page Application) using a modern UI framework (Angular and Angular Material)· Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs standards and specs· Build custom reusable UI components as per the style guides and behavior specified in the UI/UX standards· Bridge the gap between user interface design and technical implementation· Passion for user experience and user-centric development· Continuously research new and best coding practices· Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability· Strong communication skills that include leading design-related conversations, ability to build and nurture good relationships and foster an environment for collaboration· Experience with Front End Web development; Familiarity with any of the following: SyncFusion, JSON, XML, Swagger, Cypress, NGRX, graphQL, Visual Studio CodeNice to Have's:· Technical Certifications or recent Training in Front End Development with Angular, Javascript, Typescript· Experience with Java· Familiarity with any of the following: Springboot, JPA, Eclipse, maven, jUnit, and shell scriptingIT Hub offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package to include Medical, Dental, and Vision; Short Term/Long Term/Life Insurance; 401K with matching and fully Vested 100%; PTO; Holiday; Training; and much more Job Posted by ApplicantPro
