Safety Advisor At Rogers, we are committed to protecting the safety and well-being of employees. The Safety Advisor's role is to support the organization in identifying operational, physical, and environmental factors that may cause or contribute to injury in the workplace, and in achieving and where appropriate exceeding compliance with applicable safety legislation. Based in Montreal, the Advisor will be a source of guidance and information for Safety Committees and Representatives, Business and Facility Operations, and Human Resources at locations in Quebec and Ottawa Region. Key Responsibilities: Support Operations in identifying and controlling hazards in the workplace and meeting safety legislative requirements Support Safety Committees and Representatives in effectively executing their duties Guide leaders in reporting and investigating incidents, and determining and implementing corrective actions Assist with implementing, monitoring, and reporting on strategic safety initiatives Provide guidance on internal complaint resolution and work refusal Communicate with regulatory bodies on matters related to workplace safety Maintain expertise in safety legislation and best practices and an understanding of their impact on operations Qualifications: Post-secondary.
