Accountant Preston, Lancashire A GBP 45,000 : A GBP 50,000 per annum (pro rata) 6 month FTC with possibility of permanent role after 6 months Hybrid working option and Flexitime available Monday : Friday Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an experienced Accountant to join an expanding business based in Preston, Lancashire. The Role Responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive management accounting service to the regional Finance team, whilst supporting the Finance manager and team members in all the month end and operational activity. Having a hands on approach to support where necessary across various projects Duties of the Management Accountant Mainly responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in the lead up to year end. Tasks will also include ad hoc assignments such as carrying out balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with new system implementation, review and analysing large data sets to check for errors and supporting the team with the month end process Responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive management accounting service. Having a hands on approach to support where necessary across various projects on a day to day basis Support with the timely production of a monthly reporting pack including both financial and non: financial performance information and narrative Collect and enter data into financial spreadsheets and assist in creating financial reports where required. Develop continuous improvements across financial reporting, helping to automate reporting elements and empowering the business to make informed, data: driven decisions Participate in financial modelling projects contributing to achievement of business strategy Postholder must be confident in giving advice or information relating to finance procedures and policies. There will be a requirement to work closely with our internal Development team members and our Group Central Finance team members, who are all situated at different.
