As the Structural Engineering Specialist, you will utilize your considerable skills to support the department in the planning and design of the County’s network of engineered structures, non-structural culverts and associated surface water drainage systems. You will manage highly valued design projects and prepare and administer agreements and contracts. The work environment includes a balance between attending construction site meetings or inspecting County assets, and an investigative office setting while researching and preparing corporate documents. As a representative of the County, you will also take pride in your customer-focused approach when communicating with internal staff, external stakeholders and at County public forums.
