As a Lead Hand, You Will: Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants in compliance with Miller’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and ensure contractual Health, Safety and Environmental obligations for the staff and public are met Provide guidance to team members by leading safety meetings and inspections Drive quality, efficiency, budget, and productivity of the operation Understand the scope and sequencing of work, support MTO’s plan and scheduling Patrol yard maintenance, snow removal of walkways TCP as incidents occur and incident response/clean up, and deployment of PVMS signs as warranted Regular maintenance and repairs of highways and infrastructure What You'll Bring: Ability to be proactive and plan tasks accordingly Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills Exceptional ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast.
