Position Position: Accounts Payable Administrator, Temporary /Full Time Job Location : St. Albert, AB Department: Shared Services Group, Finance and Accounting Reports to : Accounts Payable Supervisor Key Responsibilities • Uploading and processing invoices in Verification Station • Communicating with subsidiaries and vendors on inquiries • Processing non-PO and PO invoices in On Base and JDE • Processing invoices in all other applicable queues in On Base • Reviewing issue queues in On Base and determining corrective action when necessary • Administration of shared accounts payable Outlook inbox • Reconciliation of vendor statements • Inquiring with vendors on missing invoices based on statement reconciliation • Communicating with Accounts Payable Supervisors on accounts payable issues that arise • Other ad hoc tasks assigned by Accounts Payable Supervisors • Other accounts payable related projects assigned by Corporate Controller and/or VP Finance Qualifications • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Clear and effective communication skills • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe software • Ability to work will in a fast paced, collaborative, and team-based environment • Adaptability to a changing work environment Experience • Entry level position • No accounts payable or accounting experience required • Ideal for newly graduated (diploma or degree program) post secondary students looking to gain experience in a Finance and Accounting Department ABOUT COLAS Colas is a Canadian leader in transportation infrastructure – materials, construction, and maintenance.
