In 2017, the Bank of Canada opened a new Bank of Canada Museum where visitors learn about the work that the Bank does to support the economic well-being of Canadians and explore Canada’s National Currency Collection. Our Museum is both a traditional museum and an interpretive centre. As a public outreach arm of the Bank’s Communications Department, the Museum’s mission is to clarify for Canadians the key functions of the Bank of Canada. In addition, through the National Currency Collection the Museum interprets our monetary heritage, both Canadian and international. This position will support the Visitor Services team by delivering onsite and virtual programs as well as assisting with the development of educational programs and resources for schools which is a key initiative of the Museum.
