Reporting to the Supervisor, Health and Safety, the Coordinator, Safety and Loss Control is responsible for the administration and coordination of site health and safety programs. This position will be dedicated to being a resource for Greenhills Operational groups, focused on ensuring Health and Safety of employees and contractors. This is a temporary position for 18 months with the opportunity of extension. To be successful, we require someone who can multitask, stay organized, and support multiple scopes within a fast-paced team environment. The successful individual is self-motivated and possesses strong attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making abilities. This role involves collaborating with contractors and stakeholders on safety initiatives and programs, thus a flexible attitude, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive and enhance health and safety performance and initiatives. You will work on an exciting and dynamic team, collaborating with our maintenance department. Join us in the breathtaking Elk Valley of British Columbia.
