As the apprentice, you are just one of the key players who support the overall safety and efficiency of our infrastructure. About Our Opportunity As the sprinkler system installer apprentice, you will assist the Mechanical trades coordinator or the mechanical foreperson, under the supervision of a qualified Red Seal journeyperson in inspecting, maintaining, repairing, renovating and/or installing fire suppression system components and systems in provincially owned buildings. Primary Accountabilities Under the general supervision of the Mechanical trades coordinator, the sprinkler system installer apprentice will install, maintain, service, repair, inspect and decommission industrial, commercial and residential fire suppression systems, equipment and components in provincially owned and leased buildings serviced by the Department.
