PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Supports FMCC’s mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy. Adheres to the FMCC Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements. DUTIES / ACTIVITIES: CUSTOMER SERVICE: Responsible for driving the FMCC culture through values and customer service standards. Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers. Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication. Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Review and process routine accounting data for revenue, cost of sale and operating expenses; ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with provincial and federal requirements, and standard accounting and audit procedures Create and process required journal entries Prepare and post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals Research and correct account discrepancies Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Match, code and enter invoices Research and resolve accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors Prepare and reconcile Cost per treatment billing and service billing Reconcile and process transaction related to deferred sales Track, reconcile and process required AR transactions for long term accounts Reconciliations and analysis Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and intercompany general ledger accounts Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules Prepare AR and AP account reconciliation reports Rebates Maintain separate Accrued Rebate database Reconcile the database to GL accounts and subledger Provide monthly reports Set up new rebates Verify and pass rebate payable to AP Inventory Assist in inventory count, reporting and adjustments Analysis of various inventory movements and margins.
