The candidate is required to be in office hybrid mode 2 days currently and in DMV area - Please don't send any resume if the candidate is not willing to work in hybrid mode and DMV area. We are looking for strong Oracle Database Administrator with Exadata and shell scripting or automation experience .MS SQL admin is a plus and eager to learn and contribute other technologies with in the team. Responsibilities: • Assume the role of an independent contributor as an IT professional responsible for a design of databases for financial applications• Experience and provide 24/7 Production Environment Support and managing High Availability environments using Real Application Cluster (RAC), Failovers, Data Guard, RMAN and Cloning technologies using data domain• Experience & implementation of MS SQL Server Database, Oracle Database, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle OID/LDAP, Apache Tomcat, Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Restful Data Services (ORDS)• Experience in Oracle Exadata administration .• Experience in Oracle Data Guard and storage replication.• Experience in shell scripting and automation of day-to-day activities• Experience in database user provisioning/de-provisioning• Experience in database performance tuning and patching• Proven ability to contribute to projects with some guidance, capacity to work both independently and in a team and a willingness to seek advice and assistance• Knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a Plus• Excellent communication (oral & written) and collaboration skills. Requirements: · Master's/Bachelor's degree in computer science· Familiarity with Oracle/SQL Server database design, coding, and documentation· Experience in Oracle Exadata administration, Oracle Application Express, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Data Guard.· Oracle Exa-data administration exp. · Prior experience with Exadata X8M-2 servers - DD Boost setup on Exadata X8M-2, Configuration on all 19c/12c/11g databases/containers and Setting up Hugepages.· Setup DD boost Backups on SQL Server.· MS SQL Server admin exp is a plus.· Knowledge of database backup/recovery procedures, performance tuning and SQL· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
