QC SCIENTIST HERTFORDSHIRE Competitive Salary An exciting clinical: stage biomedical company are currently recruiting for a QC Scientist to join their QC team based in the Hertfordshire area. The role will involve working the following shift pattern: Wednesday : Saturday and on a 2 week rotation: 6am:3:45pm and 12:15pm:10pm. 35 hours per week. As a QC Scientist you will perform in process and release testing, lead minor quality events, identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and execute validation / tech transfer protocols. Key responsibilities include: Execution of analytical tests : in process drug product samples, release drug product samples, drug product stability samples Management of QC materials Initiation of deviations, laboratory investigations, change controls or CAPAs as required Performing impact backssments for minor deviations and change controls. Leading internal QC investigations To be considered for the role candidates must have a BSc/MSc in a Life Sciences related field, along with experience working with Bioassays (ELISA etc. ), PCR (q PCR, dd PCR) and Flow Cytometry.
