Our thriving hotel is looking for a friendly and trustworthy individual to be our new concierge. You are the first person to meet guests upon arrival and will be responsible for checking in guests, making reservations, recommending local activities or restaurants, arranging transportation and any other tasks as needed. Our ideal applicant has exceptional attention to detail and a strong desire to ensure that our visitors have a wonderful stay at our hotel. Apply now if this describes you! Responsibilities: • Address issues and complaints from guests and find an appropriate answer• Provide the best local recommendations, gather in-depth knowledge about the premises as well as surrounding venues and businesses• Coordinate events, excursions, and transportation for hotel guests as needed• Serve as a point of contact for guests who seek assistance or information, and listen to their wishes and needs• Greet guests when they arrive and ensure their bookings or reservations are accurate Qualifications: • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred• Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent• Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations• Local knowledge of the area to recommend restaurants and activities to guests• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills Compensation: $15-16 DOE About Company: Come and join our team at the beautiful Fairfield Inn Downtown Salt Lake City in Utah!
