Learn more about us at www. novascotia. ca/natr About Our Opportunity The Department of Natural Resources and Renewables is now accepting applications for a Co-op student for a period of 15 weeks starting May 13, 2024, to August 26, 2024. Candidates must provide proof of status as a full-time post-secondary student and be scheduled to return to school in Fall 2024 to be eligible for this program. The Marine Renewable Energy and Clean Innovation Division responsible for providing support to the Department's efforts to develop clean energy resources, reduce Nova Scotia's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, create jobs, and transition to a low-carbon economy. As an Intern in the Marine Renewable Energy and Clean Innovation Division, you will collaborate on research, policy, and programs related to related to clean growth and marine renewable energy including offshore renewable energy, green hydrogen, clean investment and related policy innovation. You would gain program administration experience by supporting the implementation Marine Renewable-energy Act and regulations and the administration of the tidal energy licence and permit program. You will work collaboratively as a member of an integrated, multi-disciplinary team and with other government agencies and external stakeholders.
