The Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney will work with clients in the clean energy industry on high-quality projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in the renewable energy industry and with various agreements related to project development and finance. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Duties:Work with clients in the clean energy industry on renewable energy projectsReview and negotiate power purchase agreements, company or asset purchase and sale agreements, hedge contacts, equipment supply contracts, and construction contractsProvide legal advice and support on project development and finance mattersDraft and review legal documents and agreementsConduct legal research and analysis on renewable energy regulations and policiesCollaborate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to achieve project goalsHandle various legal matters related to project development, finance, mergers acquisitions, and commercial contracts Requirements:2-7 years of law firm experience in project development, finance, mergers acquisitions, and commercial contractsExperience working in the renewable energy industry preferredStrong written and oral communication skills Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the state Bar Skills:Experience with renewable energy project development and financeKnowledge of power purchase agreements, company or asset purchase and sale agreements, hedge contacts, equipment supply contracts, and construction contractsStrong negotiation and drafting skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, life, ADD, EAP, STD, and LTD insuranceEnhanced parental leave and Off Ramp/On Ramp programVoluntary income protection benefits such as supplemental life, accident, critical illness, and long-term care insurances401(k)-retirement plan with company match.
