We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Plymouth to assist with the appointment of a SEND Support Officer, on a 4 -month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £12.00 per hour PAYE Responsibilities: Maintain customer and client information and data in a confidential manner ensuring compliance with regulations relating to the access, security and processing of personal data e. g. key holders for schools Act as the link between Plymouth Parent Carer Voice and Youth Ascends to ensure the voice of the child and parents views and wishes are part of any planning for the SEND Service Validate and manage data and information received, collation and production of reporting, provision of statistics and completion of returns e. g. FOI requests. Proactively provide suggestions to the team on measures to improve the service in terms of efficiency, customer experience and best practice -supporting a continuous improvement ethos Administer Health, Safety and Wellbeing activity including DSE backssments Carry out recruitment forms, processes and induction for new employees Qualification : GCSEs A- C (9-4) or equivalent in English and Maths NVQ3 or equivalent qualification or experience in business support Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
