Freed Maxick hires the most qualified people available and gives them maximum opportunity to advance!As a Tax Senior/Supervisor specializing in the tax-exempt and not-for-profit sector, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing tax-related matters for our diverse portfolio of clients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with tax regulations while maximizing tax benefits for non-profit organizations. This role involves collaborating closely with clients to understand their unique financial situations, providing strategic tax planning, and guiding them through complex tax challenges.Both hybrid and remote opportunities available! These salary ranges are for applicants based in Western New York. Consideration will be given to applicants outside of our geographic area with appropriate ranges provided, based on location. CPA preferred. 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on tax-exempt or not-for-profit organizations Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax laws relevant to the non-profit sector Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Proficiency in tax preparation software Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment PDN-9b725dbb-81b9-41e4-954a-65523cec57a4
