Hvac Repair Technician

Our growing HVAC company needs a service tech to meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix HVAC equipment. Strong interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role. You have the technical skills to identify HVAC problems, and the communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, installed, or replaced, and why. Responsibilities: --- Locate and correct HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement --- Interpret and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams --- Carry out customer warranty services and preventative maintenance plans --- Enter completed projects and the parts used into the database --- Execute maintenance and installation of HVAC equipment for homes and offices --- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner, treating all residents with courtesy and respect --- Accurately diagnose problems and make repairs when responding to all service requests assigned --- Perform the maintenance needed and/or replacements of units, ductwork, etc. --- Help to replace HVAC units as necessary --- Be able to communicate effectively with staff and customers --- Be prompt and diligent in tasks performed Qualifications: --- Applicant must have required local and state HVAC tech licenses --- High school diploma or GED required --- Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs or 100 lbs with help --- Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification --- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, and an exceptional problem-solver --- You must have experience in service, diagnosing, repairs, and replacements of HVAC units --- Communication skills are a must --- A friendly and positive attitude is a must --- Must be dependable and honest --- Must be able to pass a drug screening --- Must have an active driver's license in good standing About Company: Residential Heating and Air is an independently owned local company that strives to provide great customer service along with excellent, quality work.
