Our busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to make our guests' dining experience memorable. Hospitality Associates operates Comfort Inn (opening soon), La Quinta Inn & Suites and Best Western Chena River Lodge in Fairbanks, Alaska. As our breakfast attendant, you will set up the buffet daily, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service. The breakfast attendant will also refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked and remove dirty dishes and utensils. Candidates should be enthusiastic about customer service. Responsibilities: • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service• Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently• Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations• Sanitize and ensure cleanliness of all buffet bar areas, including tables and chairs, and empty trash as needed• Provide attentive service to guests in the dining area by taking orders, and serving food and drinks Qualifications: • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills • Experience working in food service is preferred Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly About Company: Welcome to our pet-friendly Comfort Inn Fairbanks hotel in Alaska.
