Tooling Analyst Location: Foster City, CA Duration: 6 months Description: At client we have set the goal to provide our customers with a high quality product, while also delivering the highest level of safety while using our fully autonomous vehicles. You will work with a team of tooling engineers and sourcing managers to create dashboards, reports, track timing and chase suppliers for timing reports for the tooling being manufactured to produce the client robot platform. Responsibilities: Support the tooling manager and the tooling engineers with the day to day documentation of the tooling department. Gather and transfer data from suppliers to the client reporting systems in Smartsheet and Google docs. Create dashboards that are to be used for presentations and reports to the tooling team and the managers of the different departments. Attend meetings and take notes if engineers can not make the meetings due to conflicts in schedules. Produce monthly reports for the VP meeting on tooling. Qualifications: Engineering degree or a technical engineering qualification. Excellent communications and collaboration skills. Excellent organizational skills. Experience in Smartsheet, Microsoft tools, google sheets. Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with cad viewers, Enovia or Catia would be an asset.
