Gastroenterology physician job in Michigan : Locums Marquette, Michigan, Gastroenterology Opening Clinical Role: Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Need for MI licensed provider to cover the following dates: May 20-June 9 July 15-July 21 July 29-August 4 August 26-September 1 September 9-September 15 November 18-November 24 Monday Sunday 7:00 AM 7:00 AM: 24-hour call. This applies to the first assignment. If the locum will be returning on a frequent/consistent basis, the following schedule will apply as the department will utilize the locum for scheduled outpatient procedures on the weekdays: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM regular onsite hours, followed by 3:00 PM 7:00 AM night call. Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM 7:00 AM 24-hour call. Typically, 6-10 calls per night; 2-5 expected onsite call-ins. Phone Consults: 2-4 Call Patients Seen: up to 12 per day. Call Ratio: on call during entire assignment. Assigned/Unassigned Patients Physicians are not required to remain on-site while providing night or weekend call. Locum provider will not have a scribe for this assignment and will be responsible for all charting and work completion without an assistant joining them throughout the day. Locum provider will be required to review all of their pathology and complete the line of work by communicating with the nurses the letters they want to send their patients with results and follow up recommendations. The site is looking for complete block coverage. They will only consider providers with full availability of the dates needed and not partial. Hospital/procedures + call EGD Colonoscopy pH studies Manometry Sigmoidoscopy PEG/PEG-J tube placement ERCP/EUS PERFERRED 4 procedure rooms/Endo Suites Olympus Hydrogen breath testing Capsule endoscopy Paragon & EndoPro EMR Propofol Well established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team Average 12 patients per day Board Certified/Board Eligible Active MI License Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
