Commissionaires BC is looking for a security guard to work at a outreach shelter in Vernon Shifts: Monday to Friday 12.30am till 8.30am Payrate: $22/hr Some of your responsibilities include: Foot patrols of residential building, interior and exterior Maintaining a safe environment for all, handling any crisis situations in a calm and controlled manner Offering first class customer service to the client, service users and members of the public Work with and respect the diverse community of Kelowna, supporting and guiding where needed Access Control Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor Your Must Haves … Valid BC Security License OFA 1 Excellent English oral and written skills What’s in it for you?
