As a Truck and Heavy Equipment Technician, You Will: Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Miller/MSO’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiatives Read diagrams/schematics and manufacturers repair manuals for work procedures in order to make repairs per the manufacturer’s specifications Maintain and service a fleet of trucks, pavement preservation and heavy construction equipment Able to perform services on electrical, hydraulic, power train, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment Inspect and examine vehicles and equipment Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles and equipment Timely and accurate diagnosis and repair including computer connection/diagnosis with machine to identify fault codes Provides guidance and instruction to less experienced, or apprentice maintenance personnel Utilize computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes Suggest positive changes to policy and procedures as required Ability to work with minimal supervision Maintain excellent customer relations Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment Annual PMCVI Inspection for trucks What You'll Bring Must possess, and keep valid their applicable licenses including a valid 310T Truck.
