Salary: Negotiable, Depending on Experience. Location: Billingham, TS23 Area. About The Company: They are a long-established MOT testing, car repair and maintenance garage based in Billingham. The business has a significant position in its local market and a strong core of loyal private and business customers. The company has recently embarked on a growth and professionalisation strategy, making this is a great time for qualified technicians to join and make a mark in this rapidly developing operation. There are big opportunities for both professional and personal growth. The business has ample scope to grow, both from a market and premises perspective. Based in an industrial unit on the outskirts of Billingham, there is considerable space for expanding vehicle operations. This is all supported by currently high and growing workloads and customer demand. This therefore creates two vacancies for Motor Vehicle Technicians, qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance. Role & Requirements: A currently qualified MOT Tester would be of particular interest. However, the business would be more than willing to support the right candidate to achieve qualified MOT status. Candidates would be expected to work unsupervised and carry out diagnostics, servicing, replacement of timing belts, clutches, brakes, exhausts and tyres and to perform general repairs, whilst always providing excellent service to customers. Ongoing training and development will be given to successful candidates to keep up to date with modern vehicles e. g. Electric and hybrid Vehicles. Additional Information: Hours of work would be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with a 30 Minute Break and every other Saturday 8am-12pm.
