Laboratory Technician Job Description Lab Technician Location – Northfleet Mill, Kent (Dartford, Kent) Competitive Salary and Benefits Package Permanent, Full Time The role Do you have an interest in product development? Then we have the opportunity for you! We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Northfleet. You will be responsible for carrying out physical testing for the EMEA R&D Team, ETLs and mill teams, in accordance with the Kimberly-Clark Quality Management System. Whilst being accountable for contributing to the business objectives and demonstrating the One K-C Behaviours and values. You will be fully trained on a wide range of methods to test the physical properties of a vast range of consumer products including, but not limited to, Bathroom Tissue, Facial Tissue, Kitchen Towel, Moist Wipes, Baby Wipes, Adult Care & Feminine Care products, Diapers and Pants. Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: Adhering to the appropriate Standard Test Methods or procedures Conducting timely and accurate physical testing of consumer products as requested. The data should be reported in the appropriate format or as requested by the customer. Testing includes, but is not limited to: Competitor Audits, RSRs/MSRs/Projects and Ad Hoc requests Testing correlation checks (ticklers) Conducting regular equipment verifications and calibrations in line with identified schedules Providing training within the laboratory team to ensure that all tests and procedures are carried out correctly (including the adoption of new tests) Providing in-mill trial support within EMEA as necessary Maintaining archived records and product Apply LEAN principles.
