We are seeking One (1) Chef to join our team at Thanyaphat Inc. doing business as Little Bangkok Thai Cuisine, to perform the following duties: • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of the restaurant • Consult with clients regarding banquets and specialty functions• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards• Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs• Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs and cooks• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs• Recruit and hire staff Terms of Employment: • Wage: $27 per hour, 40 hours per week• Permanent full-time• Start immediately Requirements: • Prior experience of a minimum of one year in related food and beverage service, preferably in cooking Thai cuisine• Good knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes• Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
