The Role: Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager with strong leadership skills and a desire to develop others? Keen for an exciting opportunity to join the largest UK Health and Wellness Retailer? As our Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective, professional, and timely management of the operation during the shift, ensuring targets and budgets are met in accordance with customer and company requirements. You will provide leadership and direction to team leaders and operatives in all aspects of the operation to include delegation, staffing levels, housekeeping requirements of the warehouse and working practice as well as managing Financial Targets, Compliance and Health and Safety inline with current legislation and company policies/procedures. You will ensure customer deadlines are exceeded and meet all agreed KPIs and SLAs in place, leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost and increase efficiency where possible. The Person: To be successful, we'd like you to show us that you have: Good interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills at this level. Previous experience as a successful manager & leader of large teams within a high volume passed environment. Previous e-comm and/or FMCG experience (desirable). ILM Certificate in Leadership & Management, Level 3 (desirable). Good organisational and planning skills. Good analytical and numerical skills. The ability to communicate well – both verbal and written. Strong coaching and people development skills. Computer literate, experience of WMS and MS Office. Not sure you have all the skills?
