We are seeking a flexible and talented individual to join us as a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler in Grand Falls, NB. Reporting to the Site Maintenance Supervisor , the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the mechanical aspect of the manufacturing process and have a desire to develop and hone new skills, while seizing the opportunity to own their career and personal development. Responsibilities of this role include: Research, prioritize, schedule and drive the execution of maintenance work Produce and distribute a weekly maintenance schedule with input from maintenance supervisors Coordinate with suppliers and contractors. Track craft backlog and recommend resource changes to achieve a manageable backlog Use SAP to develop a daily work schedule to secure adequate resources to complete preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance. Schedule maintenance activities such as inspections, as well as equipment preventive and corrective maintenance. Provide labor estimates for internal and external resources. Conduct regular review meetings for overdue, unplanned and pending work Promote proactive maintenance processes and develop strategies that will drive continuous improvement from an operational standpoint.
