Vacancies: 3 Work setting: Apartment/condominium complex Factory or plant Office building Commercial building Industrial facility or establishment Shopping centre or mall Recreational facility/institution Hotel, motel, resort School or educational institution/establishment Responsibilities: Tasks-Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse Empty trash cans and other waste containers Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs Advertise vacancy Balance rent roll Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment Perform minor repairs on appliances Perform safety and security checks Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants Supervise other workers Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures Work with minimal supervision Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas Additional information: Security and safety-Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear Personal suitability: Dependability Flexibility Judgement Organized Reliability.
