As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more. The Automatic Train Control (ATC) System Designer is part of the Project Engineering Team under the coordination of ATC Leader. They develops ATC system architecture, trackside and trainborne, defining and allocating requirements, evaluating design trade-offs, balancing technical risk, defining and backssing interfaces, keeping close coordination with verification and validation activities and with project deployment activities, in line with the system roadmap Key accountabilities: ATC System includes both trackside and trainborne. ATC System Designer main responsibilities are: Design system and provide related documents (specification, architecture, interface, etc. ). Lead ATC Design Reviews Ensure the ATC configuration by application data or coding is performed regarding the process and ready for testing. Investigate the Verification.
