Our growing HVAC company is looking for a problem solver with a can-do attitude and a proven record of install experience in the HVAC field. You are an accomplished HVAC install tech that will meet clients at their home or place of business to troubleshoot, diagnose, and safely install a variety of HVAC equipment. You’ll also be responsible for installing indoor air quality and control systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must in this dynamic role, as you’ll be working with industry professionals and customers. You have the technical skills to read and apply blueprints, codes, and manuals to any job, and are comfortable with using HVAC power and hand tools to get the job done. Responsibilities: • Tell customers how to properly use their new HVAC equipment• Join pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source • Lay out and connect electrical wiring using hand tools according to the wiring diagram • Probe tubing joints, pipes, and connections for possible leaks• Replace heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems• Arriving to work on time• Preparation before the job starts• Speaking courteously to customers• Attention to safety• Properly pressurizing and evacuating systems• Proper commissioning upon completion• Complete paperwork and communication with the office Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required• Candidate must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certificate • Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills• Attended HVAC school for degree and 2+ years of field experience as an HVAC installer• Candidate must obtain required state and local HVAC technician licenses• 3+ years of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical experience• Clean driving record• Reliable Transportation• Good attitude• Good communication skills Compensation: $25 - $55 hourly About Company: We are a pioneering HVAC company and an industry expert on HVAC and whole-home electrification.
