Our mission is to partner with older adults to provide accessible and inclusive services so they can age their way.We are seeking a Plumber to join the Minor Home Repair Team in Seattle, WA! What will YOU do? The Plumber provides excellent customer service and a residential service level plumbing work in the homes of qualified homeowners. Repairs include toilet installation, replacement or maintenance of water heaters, and other minor home repairs which may include some carpentry and electrical knowledge. Pay Rate: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Benefits: Great Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance coverage. Employer paid 401k plan. 3 weeks paid vacation. Plus, paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays (11 scheduled and 2 floating holidays/personal days). Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair pipes, storm sewers, sewage mains and laterals, valves, drains, basins, tubs, faucets, lavatories, sinks, gates, hydrants, water coolers, and garbage disposals. Inspect water mains, fixtures, sewer lines, valves, to determine the need for maintenance and repair. The uses of power and hand tools; estimate materials and time needed to complete jobs. Operate automotive equipment to transport materials and supplies. Maintain cleanliness of organization vehicles. Report all vehicle performance or safety issues to manager. Assure adherence to safety rules and precautions. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and the community virtually and/or in-person. Maintain accurate and complete records. May assign, schedule, direct and lay out work of lower classified staff. Requirements High School Diploma OR Equivalent. Customer service experience preferred. Valid Residential Service Level (PL04 or PL02) license or Journey Level Plumbers (PL01) license. Sound Generations is an equal opportunity employer, and we value our diverse workforce.
