About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Manager as part of the Trust Specialty Asset Services Support team within Wealth and Investment Management Operations. The Operations Manager will be over a production processing subset of the full Trust Specialty Asset Services Support team focusing on specific activities in support of oil, gas, mineral, real estate and insurance assets along with other specified trust functions as deemed applicable.Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com. In this role, you will: Manage and develop one or more specialized trust services and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional areaDevelop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized asset functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and complianceEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations areaBuild out a team by quickly learning new processes and procedures to then train team members onIdentify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced managementProvide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced teamMake decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityProvide responsibility for budget and financial performanceCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectives and meet daily functions of Specialty Asset Services Support operationsManage allocation of people and financial resources for OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent Required Qualifications: 4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experience Desired Qualifications: 4+ years experience in brokerage/wealth management operationsKnowledge and understanding of property and real estate insuranceExposure to Wells Fargo Trust operations applications and systems such as: SEI Trust 3000 and TRMS (Trust Money Movement Systems)Strong critical thinking skills, combined with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsAbility to quickly learn business operations and processesExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Job Expectations: Ability to work in office 5 days a weekWillingness to work on-site at stated location on the job openingThis position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship Posting Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota Posting End Date: 23 May 2024 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
