IBM is hiring for the P-TECH at IBM Bridge Program. This full time (40 hours per week) 17-weeks paid externship begins August 19th, 2024 and ends December 13th, 2024. As part of an effort to engage with and develop talent, the Bridge program is designed to grow professional and technical skills and support competitive candidacy for Apprenticeship or Entry Level roles. You will complete multiple learning paths, complete an assigned project, and practice our ways of working, including IBM Design Thinking and Agile methodologies.Training will focus initially on professional development, then participants will have the ability to select introductory learning from a variety of technical paths, including:Application DevelopmentSoftware EngineeringSystem SupportNetwork AdministrationCybersecurityData ScienceThis role is U.S.-based and on-site/hybrid. The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
