Practice Area: Health Care - Compliance / Transactions / HIPAA,Health Care - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 5 Years, A law firm is seeking a Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities, requirements, and qualifications:Job Overview: The Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel on various health care regulatory and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in health care law, focusing on business transactions, regulatory diligence, fraud and abuse issues, licensure and enrollment, and reimbursement. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service are essential.Duties:Provide legal counsel and guidance on health care regulatory and transactional matters.Conduct regulatory diligence and structuring for business transactions.Advise on fraud and abuse issues, including compliance with Stark and anti-kickback laws.Assist with licensure and enrollment matters.Navigate reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid statutory and regulatory frameworks.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve legal issues and achieve client objectives.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in the jurisdiction of practice (Tennessee preferred).Minimum of 5+ years of experience practicing health care law, focusing on regulatory and transactional matters.Experience representing providers and professional entities preferred.Strong business and entrepreneurial sense.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar in the jurisdiction of practice (Tennessee preferred).Skills:Proficiency in health care law and regulations.Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.Location: Nashville, TNBenefits: The firm offers a generous benefits package for eligible full-time associate attorneys within U.S. offices, including:Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) and profit-sharing plansPaid vacation and parental leaveAdditional elective programs include a health flexible spending account, health savings account, identity theft protection, dependent day care reimbursement account, commuter benefits, life, and ADD insurance, short- and long-term disability protection, employee assistance program, and emergency travel assistance.
