The Labor and Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling cases from inception to settlement/verdict, with a focus on individual wage and hour and class/PAGA litigation. They will review and analyze personnel files and wage statements, draft complaints/arbitration demands, propound and respond to written discovery, and participate in meeting and conferring on discovery matters. Additionally, they will draft motions and oppositions, defend and take depositions, attend court hearings, and prepare trial documents. Duties:Handle cases from inception to settlement/verdictReview and analyze personnel files and wage statementsDraft complaints/arbitration demandsPropound and respond to written discoveryMeet and confer on discovery mattersDraft motions and oppositionsDefend and take depositionsAttend court hearingsPrepare trial documents Requirements:2+ years of litigation experienceExperience with individual wage and hour and class/PAGA litigation preferred Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California (active and in good standing) Skills:Strong litigation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong analytical skillsProficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
