Practice Area: Family Law - General,Insurance Defense - General,Workers' Compensation Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Brentwood, TN, location.Job Overview:The Associate Attorney will be responsible for drafting, writing, researching, and effectively communicating with clients and moving cases through the litigation process by court and client-mandated deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in Workers' Compensation, Insurance Defense, or Domestic Law, with 3-5 years of litigation experience.Duties:Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Conducting legal research and analysis on various issues.Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.Representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.Managing caseload and meeting deadlines.Providing legal advice and counsel to clients.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Tennessee State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in Workers' Compensation, Insurance Defense, or Domestic Law.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.Certifications:Admission to the Tennessee State Bar or eligibility for reciprocity.Skills:Legal drafting and writing skills.Legal research and analysis.Client communication and advocacy.Time management and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
