Position Title: Inside Sales Representative ll Location: Columbus, OH 43215, USA Job Category: SALARY Schedule: Full-Time Req ID: INSID001039 Posted Date: April 11, 2024 Description: Job Details Description ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate new business opportunities via Quotes and order follow-up. Close orders on the phone or advance the selling opportunity. Determine pricing for all day-to-day sales quotes, following the set pricing guidelines, while communicating and working closely with appropriate field sales to close the sale. Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions Qualify new leads to generate new business working with appropriate field sales. Make outgoing calls to customers to provide additional product information to create awareness and gain potential business. Foster positive customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service and care while managing day-to-day customer needs. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the price, application, installation, and specification of company products with continual training to provide a basic level of technical support, including suggesting alternative products/services to meet the customer's needs. General Account Management: Accurately pricing & processing customer orders, quotations, inquiries, and other requests in an accurate, timely, and proactive manner. Identify and communicate late orders in advance of promised ship date promptly and accurately. Responsible for resolving problems relating to orders by working with all departments within the company Communicates effectively with appropriate departments to obtain pertinent information not available via system means and at all levels of the organization. Act as liaison with operations, logistics, marketing, and technical resources for the customer. Performs work independently without being prompted while assuming responsibility for meeting the goals and requirements of the position. Anticipates problems and proactively addresses issues with little or no supervision in completing assigned tasks Must be willing to assist other Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Personnel, and Managers while maintaining a good working relationship with peers. Complete all other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications : Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferably in sales, marketing, or related field Previous customer-facing experience is preferred, such as customer service, sales, inside sales, or service industry Extensive practical knowledge of all aspects of the industrial business process Opportunity to move into outside sales Ability to read and write the English language in a clear and concise manner Calm and empathetic demeanor when dealing with demanding customers General typing skills, along with previous PC and Microsoft Office experience Superior verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize, prioritize, and work within established deadlines Willingness to work overtime when necessary or required Math skills required Multi-tasking required Ability to work independently and as a team Willing to travel when necessary Qualifications Skills Behaviors : Motivations : Education Experience Licenses & Certifications PI29f73a7c803a-29448-33893069PDN-9bf1a680-ae89-4354-be51-664821d30e17
