This position will report to the plant manager.Responsibilities:Identify operational weaknesses and offer improvement suggestionsConduct a purge study of purged meat and offer suggestions to minimize waste (including creating a cost savings analysis between different time of slicers)Manage a time study concerning machine turnoverRecord and report product diameters and lengthsWorking closely with the Manager and/or assigned staff member to complete allocated tasksAbility to coordinate across multiple teams and maintain project deadlinesOther duties may be assigned on an as-needed basisPreferred Qualifications:--Knowledge of Microsoft Office ProgramsCurrently enrolled in a college/university earning a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Food Industry Management, Food Science, or related fieldPast experience in a manufacturing environment a plusBi-lingual in Spanish is a Plus--
