Feeder Operator

Description:
Maintain feeder operation, pallets of paper in feeder, and maintain ink levels in individual ink fountains. Assist in make ready and PM activities. :Operate the Feeder; set up loads, set top and side guides, identify good and bad loads, hang plates on printing press :Challenge run speed throughout the shift and during each job change :Ensure that all daily management boards, dashboards, housekeeping and 5S check lists and completed accordingly for your shift :Ensure that appropriate contact relief is made and machine hand:off occurs during shift changes :Makes adjustments on machines and ensures that all mechanical parts are running smoothly :Fixes and cleans all machines (preventive maintenance and other general repairs) :Responsible for understanding and adhering to all GMP, safety, food safety, SQF, HACCP and food defense procedures (training will be provided) Any other reasonable request from management Required Experience :High school diploma or general education degree (GED) :6 months previous experience in a Warehouse/Material Handler position :6 months previous experience in Inventory Management :6 months previous experience safely operating a forklift :Computer skills At Graphic Packaging International (NYSE: GPK), we produce the box you may have poured your childs cereal from this morning, the microwaveable tray that heated your lunch, the paper cup that held your coffee throughout the day, and the carrier of those bottles of craft beer you may enjoy tonight Were one of the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper:based packaging for some of the worlds most recognized brands of food, beverage, foodservice, household, personal care and pet care products.
