Candidates located outside of the Ashland, VA area are invited , but will be expected to move to the area prior to first day of work.*** The Financial Analyst at Cascades Containerboard Packaging reports to the Sr. Plant Controller, supporting plant accounting and manufacturing. Responsibilities include month:end close, variance analysis, and management reporting to include, fixed costs, production, inventory, expenditure, and profitability. : Provide maintenance cost expertise and SAP PLM:MRO module support.: Assist with month:end close, reconciliations, and daily maintenance cost reporting.: Collaborate across teams to improve cost efficiency and standardize processes.: Track capital project costs and coordinate inventory processes.: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes:Oxley and inventory policies.: Analyze fixed cost expenditures and recommend efficiency improvements.: Support budgeting, forecasting, and provide analytical support to Sr. Controller.: Produce monthly financial reporting packages and analyze results for variance reporting.
