QCR Holdings is looking for a controller to join our team! The preferred candidate for this position will possess the ability to achieve success as an independent contributor with minimal direct supervision and oversight, as well as a collaborative teammate within the Accounting Department, a leader to internal and external clients and partners, and the QCRH organization as a whole. Key functions of this role include the ability to accurately record, monitor, analyze, report, and communicate all financial information for Guaranty Bank ("GB") including various bank subsidiaries and the consolidated GB entity in accordance with GAAP. The GB Senior Controller will communicate financial information and strategies to executive leadership and board members in a manner that not only delivers facts, but context, in a polished, relatable, and accessible manner. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required. CPA designation highly desirable. Ability to successfully demonstrate leadership experience and cultivating a culture of inclusion while working with diverse individuals of many different backgrounds and capabilities through issues that can be challenging and complex and carry a sense of urgency. Three to five years of experience in public accounting or in accounting within the financial institution industry is highly desirable, but not mandatory. Background, experience, and the ability to create value are also strong considerations.
