Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm in Miami is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, courtroom, and deposition experience, along with strong communication, drafting, and research skills. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Duties:Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and other complex commercial litigation cases.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.Prepare for and participate in court hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.Analyze legal issues and provide strategic advice and counsel to clients.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client management.Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner.Stay updated on developments in commercial litigation law and relevant legal trends.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Florida or eligibility for admission by motion.3-5 years of experience practicing commercial litigation.Excellent academic credentials, including law school rankings and academic awards.Proven courtroom and deposition experience.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Exceptional drafting and research skills.Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Preferred Certifications:Certification in commercial litigation or related fields is advantageous. Preferred Skills:Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.Commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client advocacy.
