Description:
Job Description Our client in Central CT is looking for a technician who can Set-up and operate wire, electrical discharge machines (EDM). Inspect product to determine compliance with product specifications * Program equipment to produce product to required specifications * Set-up and operate wire EDM machines, hole poppers / drillers, and RAM EDM machines * Inspect products to required specifications * Perform daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance, as specified * Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment * Work in a safe fashion, adhering to safety rules, immediately reporting potentially unsafe situations to supervision * Accountable for quality performance * Minimize scrap and rework in order to reduce and control product cost * Minimize scrap and rework in order to assure timely delivery to customers * Productivity / Efficiency * Work in a productive and efficient fashion * Meet production goals/standards determined by the companyCompensation and Benefits: * Competitive salary based on experience. * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Paid Time Off * Nine (9) Paid Holidays * 401 (k) * Company-Paid Life Insurance * Disability Insurance * Accident Insurance * Employee Assistance ProgramJob Requirements
