About Us: At Four Corners Building Supply we are looking for people who want to bring their passion and expertise to help our rapidly growing business. Job Summary: The Yard Manager will work directly with the location manager and dispatch to ensure that the products are loaded and stored as needed, and that the job site location runs smoothly and safely. Responsibilities we’ll trust you with: Load and unload trucks with forklift or by hand Verify accuracy of inbound and outbound freight Maintain and organize lumber yard and warehouse Assist customers with pick-ups and returns while providing exceptional customer service Coordinate with purchasing team to maintain adequate inventory levels Schedule and direct others to build loads as needed Perform other duties as assigned Your area of knowledge and expertise: Preferred qualifications: High school Diploma or GED Minimum 2-3 years of industry and job experience Forklift certification Skills: Ability to get the job done independently as well as work through others Customer Service oriented Problem solving – diagnosing and rectifying problems as they arise Good listener and communicator Organization and time management Ability to execute tasks as needed in a high-pressure environment Takes pride in completed works Physical Requirements: Frequent Carrying and lifting requirement - Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Frequent standing, pulling pushing Work Environment: works in a variety of outside weather conditions Benefits and rewards that we offer: Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Generous Paid Time Off policy Caregiver leave Paid Holidays 401(k) with a company match The ideal candidate must be able to complete all the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
