Job Summary Bishop DuBourg High School, a co:ed Catholic school, is seeking a full:time teacher for classes in film study, TV production and public speaking for the school year. Bishop DuBourg High School is committed to educating a diverse coeducational community, enabling young people to reach their full potential and live out our school motto of Faith in Christ...Service to Others. Job Responsibilities :On:air and behind:the:scenes roles of a live streaming television show and the art of film production and editing :Lead students through the production of the morning news for Bishop DuBourg on DBC:LIVE :Public speaking course covering the basic theories of communication and public rhetoric including content, evidence, organization, and style :Understanding of film history, including the cultural and artistic impact of filmmaking from its inception to present day :Critique of film utilizing various film theories and techniques Job Requirements : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in education and/or related field :Three or more successful years of teaching experience preferred but NOT required :Work collaboratively as part of a team in a Professional Learning Community :Effectively manage the classroom environment :Differentiate instruction to challenge and meet the needs of all students The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formationis an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
