Job Summary: The General Maintenance/Mechanic will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities. Responsibilities: · Performs preventive maintenance inspections and minor repairs on company equipment such as forklifts, skids steer, trucks etc.· Performs repairs on power tools, shop equipment, etc.· Performs routine maintenance on building systems to include repairs to shop & offices and maintaining the yard such as mowing, weed trimming, and upkeep.· Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.· Assist on time sensitive projects that include pipe assembly and/or equipment operator.· Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: · Ability to follow instructions from supervisor.· Knowledge of general carpentry and equipment use and repair.· Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.· Works well independently and with others.· Good communication skills.· Organized with attention to detail.· Ability to work in a fast-paced and hot/cold environment. Education and Experience: Equivalent experience, required. Physical Requirements: · Prolonged periods standing and walking· Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery· Must be able to visually inspect machines· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 poundsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Job Posted by ApplicantPro
